| | | | Мнения на посетители: | | | | | After reading THE YAHWEH ENCOUNTERS, I have just one big question to ask. Why in the world is the author advocating faith, belief, and worship of an extraterrestrial being named Yahweh? Yahweh may be a god but he is not God- with a capital G. He may be an advanced spiritual being but is certainly not the Creator of All. God- with a capital G- does not have a son by a human female. God does not browbeat, threaten, trick and kill his "children". Something is wrong here.
Much of the book just reasserts the Ancient Astronaut theory (in which I do believe). But by saying these ancient aliens are God is wrong. |  | | Richard Dawkins should read this book. It might cure him of his eternal frustration with finding an explanation as to how religion fits into human evolution.
According to the hypothesis presented here, the religions of the earth did not arise out of man's fear of death, as Dawkins thinks, but out of reverence for god-like beings who visited this planet thousands of years ago.
For instance: the bible stated that Yahweh descended unto Mount Sinai and spoke to Moses. Now, if we re-read this occurrence in the light of this book, we suddenly see that the descent has to have been a real physical vehicle.
I could not believe my eyes when I saw this as if for the first time. It is clearly a description of some type of craft with retro-rockets descending to the top of a hill.
Part of this description reads thus: "And Mount Sinai was altogether on a smoke, because the LORD descended upon it in fire: and the smoke thereof ascended as the smoke of a furnace, and the whole mount quaked greatly." Exodus 19:18.
And this is just one instance of these beings arriving on earth; we all know the story of Ezekiel and those mysterious wheels, also dealt with in the book.
These types of narratives are found not only in ancient Judaism but throughout all the writings and traditions of the ancient world.
Nevertheless, it should be noted that the author does not put down anyone's belief. She just deals with the plain facts.
Moreover, this knowledge does not have to rock one's personal faith in God, simply because the gods (lower case "g") who arrived on earth, who created our religions, are not the same as God (upper case "G") who our faith affirms to be the creator of the entire universe.

Ms Madden-Jones has managed something quite unique in expressing her viewpoint without offending either Christian believers or agnostics/atheists.

Yahweh just may return not on a literal cloud but on a spacecraft with high technology beyond what we know today to rescue his people the descendents of ancient Israel(Hebrews). For people like me, with a scientific profession and with Rational and Logic way of thinking, this book has been GOLD for my Faith Restoration. Remember that Faith is nothing without knowledge. Now, why is this? Well, for years I have been studying Sacred Scriptures of different religions,cultures and beliefs systems, as well as many books,(UFOs-Prophetic, etc. which describes a lot of possibilities for the future of Planet Earth, etc. In particular, the Bible offers in great details prophecies and historical events that preachers and theologians explains them with mithological, mystical, and magic-like interpretations that makes many people, like me, to doubt and question many of their theories.
Nevertheless, this book, as the author,(Ann Maden Jones), suggest, gives the opportunity to those like me,(logic thought), to believe that this is something that can be real in terms of the possibilities that we are not alone in this planet, that other space beigns has been visiting the Planet Earth with their AGENDAS, good or bad, and now that we have all the modern technologies available, for good or bad,if we extrapolate this knowledge to the experience of the Bible Visionaries, etc. and many other comments by the people who wrote the Bible, then we can understand that all of this could happen in the past and can happen in the future.
That a "Star War" and a "Battle Star Galactica" can happen; that a "Stargate SG-1" TV series or "Dark Skies" events can or has happened in the past with GODS struggling for power, the Goods and the Bads, and so on.
The author very well analyzes all of this possiblities in the book using cross references with Bible writings. Of course there are other books as Zecarias Sitching, etc. that can be reviewed as well Spanish author Salvador Freixedo,(ex- Jesuit Priest).
In conclusion, this writing,(The Yahweh Encounters), has given me Hope, Realistic Possibilities that Something Greater will happen in the near Future,more than we think, in relation to Humanity and Planet Earth Future, and above all a Re-charging of Faith. That BETTER things are yet to come for those who Follow the Rules of All Mighty God,(Whoever or whatever He or She is).
Live the Good GOD Way of Life, and Do not Analyze it.Study the Bible with this New Vision of Possibilities. Do what Jesus said you should Do,and you will Restore your Hope and Faith, and Happiness will be with you for Ever and Ever, no matter what.
The FORCE be with You.
